Nicephore Niepce was born in March 7, 1765 and died in July 5, 1833. He was born with the name name Joseph but he changed his name to Nicephore. Nicephore was born at Chalon-sur-Saone, France and died at Chalon-sur-Saone, France. He has one sister and two brothers. His dad was a king counselor and what he does is he deposits collector for Chalonnais. Nicephore stuides in Angers, France at Oratorian Brothers and his passions are Physics and Chemistry. In 1794, he left the French army and lived in Nice, France. From there, he got married. On year later, his son named Lsidore was born. This was his only child. In 1797, he travels to Sardinia with his family and his brother. While he went to Sardinia, it was believed that him and his brother had an idea about photography. This could of lead to his invention of the camera. He made other inventions with his brother like making an internal combustion engine. They tested the engine with a boat going up stream while the engine is at work. In 1824, he finds the points of view with his invention on the camera. What he called it was "Camera Obscura". In 1829, Nicephore teamed up with Louis Jaques Mande Daguerre who was really helpful. Louis improved the luminosity and the quality of the images. In 1830, both of them failed to bleach the brown in the picture, trying to change the color. There were no sensitivity in the picture to give you a good feel of what it would of look like if you were there. But they never gave up and they kept working on the camera. As the months of hard work went on, Nicephore had no positive results. But in June 1832, both of the them got together and decided to use lavender oil to enhance the image. This process took was called Physautotype. Nicephore and his partner keep working on the camera and making it better. His partner had a thing going as Louis created a new process that would maybe make the camera better. But in July 5th, 1833 Nicephore died. None of Nicephore's inventions were credited. This really sucked because Nicephore spent many years inventing things (Especially the camera obscura, the one invention that he is known for the most) and in the end he is credited for nothing.
